‘I’ve been meaning to paint my daughter for years, but it seems we needed to be forced to stay at home together for that to happen. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed involving Georgie in my creative process, and she says it’s the best painting I’ve ever made. I hope it will remind her of a happy time when she spent months in lockdown with her parents, two dogs and three chickens.’
